The 4 Pillars of a Profitable Lifestyle Business: Pillar One

As a female entrepreneur, you want to succeed in business without sacrificing your lifestyle. But how do you build a profitable lifestyle business that works for you?

It all starts with knowing the four pillars of success. There are only four pillars you need to work on to build that profitable lifestyle business of your dreams! And it was all I needed to get me to my million-dollar turnover in business. And I’ve helped so many other women do the same.

In this article, we’ll start by exploring Pillar 1: One Message to One Market, so you can start building your Profitable Lifestyle Business ASAP!

Knowing your unique message is part of a successful foundation for any profitable industry. Building Pillar 1, your One Message to one Market, is a foundation that is an essential part to make you stand out from your competitors and to ensure future success!

I am so excited to share it with you so you can finally stand out in your marketplace!

Pillar 1: One Message to One Market

This is the first pillar in building your Profitable Lifestyle Business. And it is all about creating a unique message that stands out in your marketplace. When crafting your One Message to One Market, it’s good to be very specific with who you are taking your message. You should think about the people coming to you with a particular problem and needing the help your genius zone can provide.

Step #1: Point A of your A-Z Roadmap (The Struggle)

Essentially, the A to Z roadmap is the process where you take you ideal clients at one point, point A (a struggle they’re facing), to another, or point Z (the transformation you bring to their lives).

To discover the point A, think about where your ideal clients are right now before they meet you. What does that look like?

To find out what their Point A is, ask yourself these questions:

  1. What are they struggling with, and what’s keeping them up at night?
  2. What are they feeling?
  3. What are they overwhelmed by?
  4. What is their biggest problem and pain point currently is that you help them with?

For example, you’re a sleep coach. Your market’s biggest pain point is that they’re a new parent that has had zero sleep, they’re tired, they’re exhausted, they feel hopeless, they’re depressed, they feel like they’re not connecting with their child, whatever it looks like.

You need to be able to sum that up in a sentence or two to get a good grasp of what that looks like.

Example #2: You’re a social media marketing coach for businesses. So maybe when they started, they were overwhelmed. They’re either not on any platforms or feel they need to do the right things. So they’re wasting their time, they’ve yet to learn what to put on their social platforms, and they’re getting no leads and no traffic.

So to sum it up, whatever it is you help your people with, think about their predicament — That is your Point A on the A to Z roadmap!

Step #2: Point Z to your A-Z Roadmap (The Transformation)

You’re onto step two, which is the transformation you can give them. Essentially, we’re talking about the after, or the transformation they’ll have if they avail your service. So ask yourself these questions:

  1. What is the end result if they get your product or service?
  2. What does life look like?
  3. Where are you taking them to?
  4. What are they going to be able to achieve?
  5. Will they be healthier, will their relationships be stronger, or will their bank account look better?

So paint out what that point Z (the transformation) looks like on the roadmap.

And then, to wrap all of this up, you need to have a unique angle as to how you’re solving this particular problem.

No one out there is the same as you, but a few other people in your industry and a few competitors solve a similar problem. So you gotta figure out how your solution is unique from the rest!

You must figure out how to stand out in the sea of sameness.

What are you going do to stand out?

How To Stand Out Tip #1 What Do You Stand For?

First, you need to know what you stand for and against. To do this, I usually look at my competitors first to get inspiration. Which values will I stand for, and which will I oppose?

This will create polarity in your marketplace, which is critical to success and cutting through. This will be how you bring your unique voice and angle into this.

How To Stand Out Tip #2 Review Your Competitors

Review your competitors. Find five major competitors in your marketplace, and go to their websites. Review them, look at them, scan over the homepage and social media profiles, and get a vibe about their unique angle and their approach.

How To Stand Out Tip #3 Create Your Flip

To create your flip, think about what frustrates you in this industry. Write down the things that frustrate you about your competitors because there’s an excellent chance they will also frustrate your ideal customers. So when you look at your competitors, what frustrates you?

For example, when I looked at my competitors, one of them was just about luxury. It felt like she was building a profitable lifestyle business so she could always go on private jets. And that’s great, but that frustrates me because luxury is not why I’m building my business.

Go through your competitors and think, “what are the things that frustrate me about this competitor?”

Again, don’t share this publicly. This is just for your own private reference. When you’ve got five different unique angles that your competitors have chosen to pursue, and you’ve got five things that frustrate you about your competitors, you’ll find your angle somewhere in there. You’ll find your flip.

So now, take one of those frustrations and flip it on its head. Maybe you’re frustrated that all the other coaches seem to do is dream and plan. Great. You’ll flip that, and you’ll talk about action. Stop dreaming; start doing! So find one of those things that frustrate you, and you flip it, and there is your angle.

That right there is a quick insight into how you can discover your message.

How To Stand Out Tip #4 The Dog Whistle

Once you’ve got your unique message, you’ve got to know how to communicate to the market. I want you to be able to speak in such a way that when you say something, your ideal market turns to you and says, “Who are you, and how the heck do you know me so well?”. That’s what I call the dog whistle.

It’s where you can call out your ideal customers by their exact pain points and needs, that they follow the solution you can provide. That’s how you generate really hot customers. So that’s the end goal of having one message, to be able to do that in your marketplace.

And there you have it!

There are only 4 pillars of entrepreneurial success.

And Pillar number one, One Message to One market is a very crucial foundation in building your successful business.

Being clear on what you stand for and what your unique message is, will help you hone in on who your target audience is and create messaging that resonates with them. This is essential if you want to attract your ideal clients and make a lasting impression in today’s competitive marketplace.

I really learned a lot from the pre training. My doer was matched with me perfectly. She has removed 100's of hours of work from me and done it in a way that is far better than I was doing it
